Taxi drivers have gone back to school to learn about traffic offences and good service.
Dubai Taxi Corporation has been running an education programme with the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) focusing on traffic offences, as well as procedures and policies adopted by both bodies to improve conduct and quality of service.
The lectures are held each day and attended by 40 to 50 drivers.
Mansour Al Falasi, Acting Director of the Franchise and Enforcement Department at RTA’s Public Transport Agency, said: “Cab drivers have been introduced to quality and conduct offences, personal hygiene and vehicle cleaning, among others.”
