I wish taxi drivers would obey the laws of the roads like the rest of us have to. I contacted Dubai Taxi with this picture asking them to please remind their taxi drivers to use a hands free ear piece (at least) and NOT TEXT while driving. It’s so dangerous but they didn’t even bother to reply to me.
I know the taxi drivers struggle here but it’s no excuse for putting my life, the life of others and their own in danger.
What is so urgent anyway that they have to make three phone calls in a 15-minute trip and send three texts?
A test was done recently and it showed that talking on the phone while driving was like having four alcoholic drinks and texting was like having eight.
I’m upset with Dubai Taxi because they didn’t even offer a response.
