Most Dubai taxis still not charging Salik fee
Taxi passengers in Dubai are confused as some taxis have started charging Salik but most have not — despite an earlier announcement by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) that Dubai’s 8,000 taxis would start charging Salik from Tuesday. Gulf News has learnt that the meters of most taxis are still to be synchronised to add the Salik toll automatically.
