Transport officials want taxi passengers to not only file complaints against unscrupulous drivers, but also to highlight a good experience so deserving cabbies can be rewarded. The Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC) has launched two programmes to raise the drivers' performance and improve customer service.

A motorist using the iPhone will not have to remember the confusing procedure of mParking any more. The new RTA app comes with a small form with clear fields to punch in the required details. As if that was not enough, the app saves the plate number when it is punched in once.
