Visitors to the emirate are to receive a warm welcome from a team of helpful greeters. The initiative aims to give travellers help from friendly guides as well as warn them about the dangers of using illegal taxis.

The Gulf emirate of Dubai on Sunday opened passenger operations at its second airport, Al-Maktoum International, touted to be the world's largest once it is completed.

The Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC) at Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), has recently rolled out "Hadhreen" initiative aimed to offer better service to customers in various community segments under the aegis of the Emirates Islamic Bank. The event is intended to raise customers satisfaction, reduce complaints and provide distinguished and leading services that reflect the DTC's vision of "Pioneers in Passenger Transport Services."

The Dubai Airports and the Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC) at Roads & Transport Authority (RTA), have signed Service Exchange Agreement aimed at improving the quality of service delivered by DTC to passengers arriving and departing from Terminals 1, 2 and 3 of the Dubai International Airport.

Dubai Duty Free (DDF), the tax-free shopping haven located at Dubai International Airport, has been riding high ever since its started operations in 1983. Being consistently ranked as one of the top airport retail operations in the world, DDF, now in its 27th year of operations, occupying a retail space of 15,000 square metres at Dubai airport’s three state-of-the-art terminals.
