Emirates airline has announced lower fares for passengers travelling from Malta to Bangkok and all four cities in Australia. Emirates flies from Dubai non-stop to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth in Australia and non-stop to Bangkok.
The special airfares start from e1,025.28 inclusive of taxes to all four destinations in Australia and are valid for passengers travelling in Economy Class during the month of March 2010 only. Air tickets will be issued and purchased within three days after reservations are made.
The airfares to Bangkok start from e784.11 inclusive of taxes and are valid for passengers travelling in Economy Class with immediate effect up to 31 March. Tickets for Bangkok will be purchased and issued on same day of booking.
Following Emirates’ A380 service to Sydney last year, Emirates has stepped up its presence in Australia with the introduction of a third daily service to Melbourne. Sydney and Melbourne are the cities with the largest Maltese communities. A second daily service to Brisbane was introduced last year escalating the airline’s weekly capacity to 63 flights serving the four Australian gateways, including Perth.
Last June, Emirates also launched daily services on A380 super jumbo to the holiday destination of Bangkok. The city reveals a magical oriental metropolis, with a splendid heritage of culture, art and architecture that thrives amongst the high-rises and new shopping centres.
Paul Fleri Soler, Emirates manager, said: “With today’s special fares and Emirates’ convenient flight schedules, this could be an ideal time for Maltese to make their long awaited holiday to the natural beauty of Australia or the magical Bangkok.”
Emirates operates daily flights from Malta to Dubai via Larnaca, Cyprus. For the Maltese flying to Australia or the Far East, Dubai is the best and most convenient connection.
Further enquiries or bookings for these special airfares can be made at Emirates Sales Office, Malta International Airport, tel. no. 2557-7255 or one may contact the local travel agent or else log on to www.emirates.com/mt.
