DUBAI: The Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC), Roads and Transports Authority (RTA) has offered prepaid vouchers to customers, be it public or private institutions, of Dhs10, 20, 25, 30 and 50 each, in a bid to streamline services rendered to customers and introduce new methods in serving the public.
Engineer Mansour Al Falasi, Director of DTC Resources and Support, said, “This service comes in the context of DTC’s endeavours to enhance the customers service experience, and in response to the growing demand of various institutions and entities for such a service as it entails an added-value and a premium to their customers, employees or visitors, who can avail it in their daily mobility across the emirate.”
“The previous vouchers manually completed by cabbies have been abolished, and all DTC cabdrivers have been briefed about these newly issued prepaid coupons. Introductory workshops have been conducted on how to receive these coupons from customers, return the balance (change) or receive an additional amount depending on fare of the trip, and then deliver the voucher to the Collection Office, Finance Section at the DTC Head Office,” added Al Falasi.
