Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC) of the Road and Transport Authority (RTA) has launched a new system for controlling the performance of its fleet vehicles on a daily basis.

It is meant to retain operational and technical efficiency by following up with drivers and vehicles and communicating with the drivers in cases of emergency, crises, disasters and accidents.

With the new system, satisfaction levels will increase to meet the set targets this year of 82%, 73% and 80% for customers, the society and drivers, respectively. The anticipated results will reflect DTC’s keenness to provide the best services and up-to-date technologies for quality and excellent work.

Attending the ceremonies were Acting Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Ahmad Muhammad Al-Hammadi, Director of Resources and Support, Mr. Mansour Al-Falasi, Director of Fleet Management and Operation, Mr. Muhammad Yusuf Saleh, Acting Director of Fleet Driver Affairs, Mr. Marwan Othman in addition to other directors and senior officers.

Briefing the audience on the new system, Mr. Muhammad Yusuf explained that it serves as a monitor and controller of DTC’s taxi fleet run by the Fleet Operation Department. More info
