DUBAI: The Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dar Al Ber Society in the context of its endeavour to promote charitable activities, support its social and humanitarian drive, and raise the awareness and values of social solidarity among the communities of the UAE.
The MoU, effective for a year and renewable, was signed by the acting CEO of DTC, Mansour Al Falasi, and the board member and head of Local Affairs Sector of Dar Al Ber Society, Mohammed Suhail Al Muhairi, in the presence of several officials from both parties.
Dar Al Ber Society will receive amounts agreed upon by DTC that are collected from the latter’s employees and cabdrivers. These amounts will be in the form of monthly transfers, contributions of periodic campaigns, or the proceeds from fund-raising boxes distributed within DTC’s premises and facilities, as per the applicable procedures.
The received amounts will then be deposited in a Fund set up for implementing charitable activities inside and outside the UAE. More info
