Dubai Taxi launches ‘My Skills’ initiative to edify non-technical staff
The Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC) at Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has recently rolled out a new initiative titled “My Skills” aimed at training and enriching the knowledge of its administrative staff to furnish them with the basic technical skills of vehicles maintenance.

Free rides on public transport on November 1
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) will offer free rides on public transport for a day to mark Public Transport Day on November 1 for the second consecutive year. Dedicated bus and taxi lanes will also be opened on Naif and Al Ittihad roads on this day.

RTA workers took bribes to fake vehicle tests, court hears
Two data entry officers at the Roads and Transport Authority this morning denied taking bribes in exchange for forging official documents showing vehicles had passed testing. The two Iranians, a female defendant AB, 32, and SQ, 31, denied before the Dubai Criminal Court of First Instance taking nearly Dh13,500 to falsify the vehicles’ test results.
